| Publish YOUR Work |
We will consider entries in Education-Today.net of two types:
Publication: where contributors submit original papers for publication by us.
Links: where our editorial panel and our readers suggest publications that we will link to. These will be reviewed by one of our panel and must adhere to our publications policy of fairness and lack of hidden bias.
Everyone can offer a link, but our niche is in publishing the work of those who want to share their good practice.
We recognise just how difficult it is to start out in research, or disseminate your good practice, so we hope to be able to help by offering a more friendly approach to publication. For example, we actively encourage people who are having difficulty publishing elsewhere because they don't have a publication record already, are not funded by a big funding body, or who are simply good practitioners who want to share their work. Many of our authors go on to publish in the 'big' journals, and that's great - we helped them on their way. Our editorial panel, who carry out the review of your work, are all educational practitioners - people who teach or manage education. We do not employ career researchers on our editorial panel. All hold down 'day jobs' doing what you are doing - teaching and managing education.
Education-Today.net does not charge for its services - we do it because we care about research in what we would consider its purest form - people doing their jobs well and sharing their experience.
Therefore, we particularly welcome contributions of original research by those who are more interested in practitioner research or who are early career researchers who often have more difficulty in securing publication space in more traditional journals:
Early career
researchers:
We promise to offer full feedback on your submission, even if we
dont publish. We will NEVER simply send a rejection slip as
some journals do. We believe in education and that publication is
an important part of your continuing professional development, so
we will encourage you whenever we can;
Practitioners:
We particularly encourage contributions from practitioners in all
levels of education anywhere in the world. This includes teachers
and lecturers of course, but also includes people who contribute
to education and want to tell us about their work.
